First of all, welcome to my site, I make erotic and recreational hypnosis for fun! If you’re new to hypnosis, you’re in exactly the right place. Whether you’re here out of curiosity, for relaxation, self-discovery, or something more playful, this quick guide will help you get the best experience from your first files.
What Is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural, focused state of attention where your mind becomes more receptive to suggestion.
That’s it. It’s not about being unconscious or out of control, it doesn’t really have a feeling (despite my cheeky file suggesting it does), it’s just focus and concentration and suggestibility. You’ll likely feel deeply relaxed, aware, and in tune with your inner world. You are often in hypnosis, every day, fully immersed in a movie, driving long distance when you can’t remember the journey, day dreaming… these are all states of hypnosis. As your mind creates your reality, hypnosis allows us (me!) to CHANGE your perceived reality. I can change how you FEEL with words. Sounds like magic, but really it’s completely scientific.
How to Listen
To get the most out of your session, a little preparation goes a long way. Here’s how to listen:
- Use stereo headphones. ALL of my hypnosis recordings use stereo effects, binaural beats, or layered voices. Wearing headphones helps you fully immerse yourself and experience the depth of the audio.
- Get prepared. Drink some water, use the bathroom, and take care of anything that might interrupt you. This is your time, so make sure you have no needs that will pull you out of the experience.
- Find a quiet, comfortable space. You don’t need a fancy setup, just somewhere you won’t be disturbed. Sit or lie down, loosen any tight clothing, let your body settle into your support, press play and listen and focus.
- Let go of expectations. You don’t need to “try” to go into trance. Just follow the voice, notice how you feel, and allow the experience to unfold. Every mind is different, trust yours to take what it needs from my words.
- It’s gets better every time. Repeat listening to files, or even the same file, will improve how effective it is. As a hypnotic subject you have to LEARN how to be hypnotised. The fun thing is, you learn by doing. So sit back and enjoy.
What Might Get in the Way?
Sometimes, despite your best efforts, trance just doesn’t quite happen, and that’s totally okay. A few common things can make it harder to drop: being overtired, distracted, or feeling pressured to “do it right”. If your mind is racing or your body is tense, give yourself permission to pause and try again later. Hypnosis works best when you’re alert but relaxed, with enough mental space to follow the experience without trying too hard. And remember, not every session has to feel deep to be effective.
Here’s a bombshell… hypnosis isn’t trance, trance is just one of the many experiences that hypnosis can offer, so don’t get hung up on “not feeling in trance”.
Where should I start
Since you’re just starting out, I’ll personally choose a small set of files tailored to beginners – gentle inductions, relaxing journeys, and perhaps something a little more intriguing if you’re curious. These will help you get familiar with the feeling of trance in a safe, enjoyable way.
Remember, hypnosis is a skill you can deepen with time. The more you listen, the more responsive and relaxed your mind becomes.
Take a breath, get comfy, and enjoy the experience.
